This piece was written in 2000, whilst Weronika Ratusińska was a student at the Academy of Music in Warszawa. Despite their coincidence, the title of the composition does not refer to Fellini's film, but to the Romansh word amarcord - "I remember", associated in meaning with the world of childhood memories. The piece's binary form is woven with great care from short fragments differing in expression, rhythm, agogics and texture. In the solo part, frequently virtuosic, the violin is on two occasions amplified using a digital echo effect (delay). In 2007, the piece was recorded for the album Weronika Ratusińska - Chamber Music (DUX Recording Producers), performed by Patrycja Piekutowska (violin) and Iwona Mironiuk (piano).
